Three of Irene’s brothers and two of their wives were killed by the LRA. The third wife was abducted. Alone, she now cares for their four children while living in a single small hut. Almost everyone in Ireda camp renewed their faith and became Born Again in order that they might be ministered to as a family. They are counseled to accept what has happened to them and are encouraged to seek comfort in the Bible.
